JOIN THE WATILIST

A waitlist for SOLD OUT Student Ticket Packages will open on Sunday, June 28th at 12pm EST and close on August 28th at 12pm EST.

To increase the accessibility and equity of ticket distribution to students on the waitlist, we will release tickets through a lottery system. This will not be a first-come-first-served system.

A link will be posted on the DTCB Website, sent via Eblast to our Mailing List, and posted on our social media stories.

Students will remain on the waitlist and be included in the randomized drawings until they are moved off – meaning the sooner they join, the more opportunities to have their name drawn. Participants will receive a notice from DTCB Staff if/when they are moved off the waitlist to discuss any necessary adjustments to their enrollment. We will make randomized ticket assignments on the following dates;

IMPORTANT NOTE about the waitlist for “+Audition” tickets:

The DTCB Program is strategically designed to provide support throughout the entire application process, so participation in all elements; INFORM, PREPARE, and APPLY, is critical to student’s successful participation in the DTCB Program. This is especially true for participation in the DTCB Audition. With this in mind, students must have a Ticket Package for DTCB (In-Person or Virtual) in order to join the waitlist for a “+Audition” Ticket Package so that they are participating in the full DTCB Program and are prepared to join the DTCB Audition if invited to move off of the waitlist. If you were hoping to get a “ +Audition “ Ticket Package but did not, you should get an In-Person or Virtual Ticket Package (non-audition) so that you can join the waitlist for a “+Audition” Ticket Package. This ensures that your student is still joining the DTCB Program in a timely manner, benefiting from all materials leading up to the audition, and will be best equipped for success at the DTCB Audition. Anyone not holding a ticket will be removed prior to lottery drawings for “+Audition” Student Ticket Packages.

Only Students who are Seniors in the 2026-2027 School Year and eligible for college admittance in 2027 are able to attend the DTCB Audition.

TIERED TUITION & SCHOLARSHIPS

Dancewave recognizes that too often, financial limitations tied to systemic inequities prevent people from access to opportunity. We seek to disrupt these inequities through Tiered Tuition pricing and Scholarships to provide individuals with financial need the ability to participate in our programs.

There are a few Waivers that must be agreed to at registration. You can preview them here so that you can agree to them swiftly at the time of purchase.

There will be an option to forego Transaction Fees and a Tip for our registration platform in the final step of checkout.

We do expect Ticket Packages to sell out quickly. Be prepared to move quickly.

THE FULL DTCB EXPERIENCE

DTCB is open to high school students ages 14-18 and one accompanying Parent/Guardian.

Auditions are open to only graduating high school seniors or students who are eligible to enter into undergraduate college beginning Fall 2027.

AUDITION

DTCB’s biggest attraction! Our auditions provides graduating seniors the opportunity to audition for up to 60 top dance programs all at once.

Designed to help you navigate the college admissions process, our panels cover everything from financial aid to careers in dance. Hear from industry professionals about how you can make the most out of your college experience.

WORKSHOPS & CLASSES

Dancing together outside of the DTCB Auditions is an important part of our event! Participating in our classes is a great way to experience college level classes before committing to a program.

NETWORKING EVENTS

You’ve talked with programs virtually, you may have even danced with them but now it’s your opportunity to connect in person and build your networking muscles early.
