VENUE

American Musical and Dramatic Academy

211 W 61st St, New York, NY 10023

Our In-person APPLY Event will be hosted at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy’s (AMDA) incredible NYC campus. Founded in 1964, AMDA New York is located in one of Manhattan’s most iconic neighborhoods, the Upper West Side. The AMDA campus is surrounded by some of the world’s most renowned performance and arts venues, including the Broadway Theater District, Lincoln Center, and numerous museums.

Beyond the arts, the neighborhood itself is vibrant and full of life. Riverside Park and Central Park offer stunning green spaces for recreation, relaxation, and outdoor study sessions. Bustling cafes, bookstores, and restaurants line the streets, giving students a perfect blend of cultural enrichment and urban adventure. The Upper West Side is not just a place to study—it’s a gateway to New York City’s energy and creativity. Whether you’re taking in a jazz performance at a local club, visiting an art gallery, or enjoying a picnic by the Hudson River, there’s always something exciting to discover.
