PROGRAM OVERVIEW:
For more than 50 years, The School of Toronto Dance Theatre has been training and educating dance artists, inspiring them with the passion and physical power of the human body in motion. As a student in our three-year, full-time, post-secondary Professional Training Program (PTP), you will be exposed to a broad curriculum, an exceptional foundation of knowledge about modern and contemporary dance, a highly physical and imaginative introduction to the art form, extensive performing experience, and an environment for hands-on learning that prepares you for a professional career. We award an Advanced College Diploma upon graduation.

The program offers:
– A focus on artistic development, interpretation, and performance opportunities
– Conservatory-style education with a concentration on studio work–you spend your day dancing
– Strong and challenging technical training
– Expert faculty, celebrated guest artists, extensive performing experience
– Live accompanists for all technique classes
